NEBULAR FREQUENCY

My name is Félix Palmero. I am a self-taught Cuban photographer and visual artist based in New York. My practice moves across photography, drawing, and writing—not as separate projects, but as different ways of following how experience becomes form.

Photography was the first language of this practice. Through portraiture, I explore the body, identity, intimacy, performance, and transformation. Drawing opened another path: one where meaning can emerge through line, repetition, color, structure, and the physical act of making. Writing extends the same movement into language, allowing experiences of memory, perception, spirituality, and change to be examined and shared.

Nebular Frequency is the public space where these practices meet. It is not a fixed aesthetic or a single belief system. It is an evolving field that allows different bodies of work to remain distinct while belonging to the same creative movement.

I create to understand what I am living, to give structure to what does not yet have language, and to offer others forms through which they may encounter their own experience.
